The UNESCO chair “New information technologies in education for all”

The UNESCO Chair “New Information Technologies in Education for All” was founded in 2002 as a structural subdivision of the IRTC.
The main objectives of the Chair activities are: development of theory and practice of information technologies in education; knowledge dissemination supported by the international educational and scientific communities, coordination of personnel training and research in the field of ICT use for education and research; creation, adaptation and delivery of e-learning courses and study programs.

The Chair priorities and objectives are closely related to the priorities of the UNESCO programs “Information for All” and “Education for all”: enhancing teachers' competences, development of innovative curriculum in ICT use in education; assisting in developing educational software and learning materials that reflect national and regional cultures; facilitating development of quality criteria and guidelines.

The Chair has 6 branches and supports web-based collaboration within the framework of the UNITWIN net with educational organizations from all regions of Ukraine and Universities from Europe.
